Lobster Buoys

Our hand-painted, decorative wooden lobster buoys are made for us in a workshop in Maine. They're roughly 18-19" long and 3-1/2 to 4" wide. Today, most lobster buoys are made of Styrofoam. Old wooden buoys are now considered antiques and sell for as much as $100 or more. Our buoys look and feel old, rustic and weathered, but they are actually brand new and only cost $17.

Lobstermen use unique color combinations to spot their buoys out on the water and ID numbers to help avoid disputes. Our decorative buoys have IDs numbers etched onto them too! And we've given each of our eight different color combinations a name, just for the fun of it.
