Ski Trail Signs

Hand-crafted by Elyse Andrews who is an artist, woodworker and Co-proprietor of The Cabin Wall. Elyse makes the signs out in our barn. Each set of ski trail signs is cut from a single length of rough milled pine that she hand picked at a local sawmill. As a result, each sign in a set has the exact same dimensions. And the beautiful saw markings that are left on the wood as part of the milling process are consistent from sign to sign. They are sanded, painted, antiqued and waxed all by hand; the same techniques used to make our rustic, wooden nautical signs. Each ski trail sign is approximately 14" x 14" x 1" thick with a saw-toothed hanger on the back.

We also have a double black diamond sign that is 24" wide x 14" tall x 1" thick and has two saw-toothed hangers on the back. If you are also ordering a set of three, your double black diamond sign will be cut from the same length of wood to insure a good match with the other signs. Looks can be deceiving! Our ski trail signs look and feel old, rustic, weathered, antique, whatever you want to call them. But they are actually brand new, so they have a lifetime of use left in them. The wood may cup a bit and have a nick, knot or flaw here and there, but that only adds to the look and feel of the signs and won't affect how beautiful they look hanging on your wall. They can be hung indoors or outside.

Individual signs are $55.00 for the green circle, blue square and black diamond and $79.00 for the double black diamond.
